Housewife raised by monkeys [PHOTO]. The story of a Yorkshire housewife who spent five years in her childhood living with a colony of capuchin monkeys in Colombia is to be told for the first time in a book and planned television documentary.
Marina Chapman alleges that she was kidnapped when she was 5 years old, presumably for ransom, and then left for dead in the jungle.
Capuchin monkeys reportedly adopted her, fed her and acclimated her to their lifestyle. She was taught to catch birds and rabbits with her bare hands. Go here to read more and to see photos.
